The Center for Business Excellence provides recruitment-related services, human resource information and training opportunities to our business and job seekers community. Our services are funded through various public and private sources. Our job is to help our business community reduce recruitment costs, and provide the information and resources they need to attain and maintain qualified employees at no additional cost to the business and job seekers. |

Rick Fraser, President
|
Mr. Rick Fraser is the President of the Workforce Development Board of Flagler/Volusia-Center for Business Excellence (CBE). Mr. Fraser has served as past President of the Ormond Beach & Holly Hill Chambers of Commerce. He is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Advanced Technology College. Other local Board service includes, PACE Center for Girls, Volusia Co. Schools Career Connection Cadre, YMCA, Bethune-Cookman University Board of Councilors, United Way, Enterprise Flagler, and Halifax Habitat for Humanity.

Prior to joining the CBE, Rick was a Human Resource Manager with local manufacturers, Ocean Design, Inc., Command Medical Products and Coronado Paint.
Rick has been very closely associated with the Volusia Manufacturers Association. He was the 1994 Member of the Year, 1998 Chairman, a member of the Executive Committee from 1994 to 2000 and a member of the MLC in 2000 and 2001.

The CBE is led by a private-sector majority Board of Directors and is one of twenty four regional workforce boards in the state.
The Board assures that CBE efforts support local business needs and facilitates partnerships and initiatives between business, educational institutions, labor, economic development efforts, government, community-based organizations, training providers and employment firms.
