The Workforce Development Board of Flagler and Volusia Counties, Inc., d.b.a. Center for Business Excellence (CBE) is a Florida private non-profit corporation. The CBE is designated as the administrative entity, planner and grant recipient of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Recovery Act) and the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (WIA) funds for Region #11, Flagler and Volusia Counties.
The CBE also receives the employment and training funds for the State of Florida’s Welfare Transition Program (WTP) funded through Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and the Food Stamp Training & Employment Program (FSET), for Flagler and Volusia Counties.
As requested by Workforce Florida, Inc. and the Agency for Workforce Innovation, CBE plans its services and delivery through our One-Stop Employment System. Posted here are CBE’s Workforce Services Plan and Recovery Plan.
